1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Achat Story Android application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms. Achat Story is not intended for children.
3. What the Service provides
Achat Story lets you discover fictional characters, read short stories, create local story drafts, and request AI-generated or AI-expanded text. Characters presented in the Service are fictional and are not real people offering friendship, dating, or communication.
Features may change over time. The current version does not require a user account and does not include subscriptions or in-app purchases.
4. Your content and instructions
You retain any rights you have in original prompts, portraits, and story material you submit. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive permission to process that material only as needed to operate, secure, and provide the Service, including sending text to an AI service provider to fulfill your request.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to use any portrait, text, name, or other material you submit. Do not submit confidential information or another person's personal data without lawful permission.
5. AI-generated content
AI output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, repetitive, unexpected, or similar to content generated for someone else. Review output before relying on, sharing, or publishing it. AI output is provided for creative entertainment and is not professional, medical, legal, financial, or safety advice.
To the extent permitted by applicable law and any third-party rights, you may edit, save, or delete generated stories for personal use. We do not guarantee that generated output is unique or eligible for intellectual-property protection in every jurisdiction.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to:
- Violate law or another person's privacy, publicity, or intellectual-property rights.
- Create or distribute sexual content involving minors, exploitative content, or graphic unlawful material.
- Impersonate a real person or falsely present a fictional character as a real person.
- Harass, threaten, defraud, deceive, or facilitate harm to another person.
- Probe, disrupt, reverse engineer, overload, or bypass security controls of the Service.
- Use automated means to extract content or access the Service beyond normal personal use.
7. Achat Story content and license
The Service, including its software, interface, branding, built-in characters, artwork, and original story collection, is owned by or licensed to Achat Story. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
8. Third-party services
Online AI generation and optional speech recognition rely on third-party services. Their availability and processing may be governed by separate terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.
9. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue features to maintain security, comply with law, improve the Service, or address technical issues. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and remove local data by deleting stories, clearing app storage, or uninstalling the app. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, protect the Service or others, or comply with law.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Achat Story and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunity arising from use of the Service. Mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected.
13. Applicable law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of Achat Story, without limiting mandatory consumer rights available in your place of residence. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service or legal requirements. The latest version will be posted here with an updated effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.
