This Privacy Policy explains how Achat Story ("Achat Story," "we," "us," or "our") accesses, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Achat Story Android application and this website.
Achat Story is a fictional story reading and creation app. The current version does not require an account, does not provide public profiles, and does not include advertising, payments, or social matching.
2. Information handled by the app
Story ideas, prompts, and generated text
When you ask Achat Story to generate or expand a story, the character details, settings, story text, and instructions you provide are sent securely to our AI service provider so the requested text can be generated. Do not include confidential information or personal data about other people in a prompt.
Voice input
Microphone access is optional and is requested only after you choose voice input. Audio is processed by the speech-recognition service available on your Android device, which may process audio according to its own privacy terms. Achat Story receives the resulting text and does not intentionally store raw audio recordings.
Selected photos
If you create a character and choose a portrait, Android's system photo picker lets you select a specific image. Achat Story does not request broad access to your photo library. The selected portrait is stored with your local story data and is not published by the app.
Local app activity
Story drafts, saved stories, generated stories, selected character photos, and reading activity are stored on your device so the app can display your library. We do not use this local activity to build an advertising profile.
Technical request data
When an online AI request is made, the service provider may receive ordinary network information such as an IP address, request time, and technical logs needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service. Achat Story does not request precise location, contacts, call logs, or persistent device identifiers.
3. How information is used
- To display, save, generate, and expand stories you request.
- To convert optional voice input into editable story text.
- To preserve your story library and reading activity on your device.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and diagnose service failures.
- To comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms of Service.
4. When information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by:
- AI infrastructure providers, solely to generate the story content you request.
- Your device's speech-recognition provider, when you voluntarily use voice input.
- Authorities or professional advisers, when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, or defend legal rights.
Service providers are permitted to process information only for the services they provide to us, subject to their applicable contractual and legal obligations.
5. Retention and deletion
Local story data remains on your device until you delete the relevant story, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. Because the current version has no user account, we do not maintain an account profile for you on our servers.
AI and speech service providers may retain limited request data for security, abuse prevention, or legal compliance under their own retention rules. You may contact us with a deletion or privacy request, and we will respond based on the information we control.
6. Security and international processing
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted network connections for online requests. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to applicable data-protection requirements.
7. Your choices
- You can deny microphone access and type your story idea instead.
- You can cancel the photo picker or remove a selected portrait.
- You can delete stories and local reading activity from the app or Android settings.
- You can stop all processing by uninstalling the app.
- You may contact us to ask about access, correction, objection, or deletion rights available in your region.
8. Children
Achat Story is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and address the request.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, our service providers, or applicable requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
